11:10 pm	5. So the hospital's got me off tomorrow and working Black Friday. THANK YOU, SCHEDULING GODS. Because honestly, I don't have family here to spend Thanksgiving with, but I do have Addie and Martha and it'd be kind of nice to actually have time with them. Besides which, working Black Friday means Hawkeye and I get to sit around and take bets on what the first deal-related case is going to be. (I call broken leg, by the way.) (Comment on this)

11:24 pm	4. It's going to be hell at the hospital for a while, with everybody trying to get their jobs back. I'm wondering how many of us that got fired are actually going to go back. I am, despite not actually needing to -- between family money and teaching at the university, I'm living more than comfortably -- but I like being busy. It's the Petrelli talent of overachieving kicking in again. The only -- and I do mean ONLY -- good thing about getting fired? It gave me more time to sit at home with my girlfriend. But one good thing up against insanity and nearly getting lynched... this town hates us all, I'm convinced. Current Mood: annoyed (Comment on this)

6:17 am	3. Was ridiculously difficult to get rid of my mirror, but he's gone now. Thank God. If he'd propositioned my girlfriend one more time I think she'd have either laughed or killed him, one of the two. As lousy as this whole mirror thing was, overall, there were some bits of hilarity. My favorite? House being nice. Because man, you're never living that down. Never mind that it's your mirror that did it, you're still never living it down. Though I have to say a close second was mirror!Mac groping me, just for the sheer WTFery of it. If she wanted it to work, she shouldn't have groped the best friend. 6:47 pm	2. So it's another year, wahey. Just another twelve months potentially full of the same bullshit as last year. Wow, when did I get so cynical? Oh, wait. I'm a Petrelli. I think we're born cynical. But really, it's just a year like any other. Though hopefully with fewer invasions. Could do without those. New Year's Eve was... spent cuddling my girlfriend while we watched TV. Okay, that and worrying about Mac. What? Full moon! Werewolf! I'm allowed to worry about my best friend. I wasn't cuddling the girlfriend while worrying about Mac, though. But yeah, it was a nice uneventful evening. Calm, just the way I like it. Which is about the exact opposite of what tonight's going to be. I'm covering an 11-7 shift for someone, so I get to experience the Aiode Falls Emergency Room at night on New Year's Day. Probably means I get to look forward to a night of people who are still drunk, and maybe an MVA or two. Can I just have the clinic instead? At least there I get to look forward to Hawkeye's antics, or at least the aftermath of them. (No, Hawkeye, that is not an invitation to come bother me in the ER.) And... it's almost eight, which means I need to go shower and grab a bite to eat. Off I go. Current Mood: busy (Comment on this)

2:17 am	1; There's a girl at my house that's been there for the past couple days. I don't remember her. She looks so damn sad every time she looks at me. I keep apologizing every time I see her, because I can tell I'm the reason she's sad. I don't need memories to know that. I wish I knew who she was. Fuck, I wish I knew who I am. I know my name, but that tells me absolutely nothing besides why the girl keeps calling me Peter. She says her name's Addie. I wish that meant something in my mind.
